What makes Widex stand out
Widex has spent decades chasing one goal above all: sound that doesn’t feel processed. Every digital hearing aid needs a moment to process what it hears. Widex is known for keeping that moment very short, so the amplified sound and the natural sound reaching your ear arrive almost together, for a clear, transparent result.
That attention to sound quality has earned Widex a following among musicians and music lovers. If a natural soundstage matters to you, Widex belongs on your shortlist.

The company
The Widex hearing aid company and its range
Widex is a Danish hearing aid company, now part of WS Audiology, the group that also makes Signia and Audio Service. Whether you call it a Widex ear aid or a hearing aid, the brand’s focus is natural, low-delay sound, which its newer models deliver through a feature Widex calls PureSound.
The range covers receiver-in-canal and behind-the-ear models, custom in-ear hearing aids down to tiny in-canal sizes, rechargeable and battery versions, and streaming from your phone. Widex is also known for Zen, gentle tones built into many of its hearing aids, which some people with tinnitus find soothing.
Widex suits people who are particular about sound quality, music lovers and musicians, and anyone who wants natural sound from a discreet hearing aid.
Where to buy
Widex hearing aid dealers near you in Pune
If you are searching for Widex hearing aid dealers near you, choose an authorised one. Prism is an authorised Widex sales and service centre in Viman Nagar, so your Widex hearing aids come with the manufacturer’s full support, are fitted by audiologists who test your hearing first, and are repaired with genuine parts while under warranty.
A first visit starts with a conversation about how you listen: the people you talk to, the places you go and the music you love. Video otoscopy lets us see your ear canals and eardrums, and audiometry maps how well you hear across pitches. Both are free, along with the consultation, when you buy a hearing aid from us. Then we suggest the Widex models that suit your results and explain each in plain language.
Next comes a free trial at home, so you hear Widex in your own surroundings, from a family dinner to your favourite playlist. When you are ready, we fit and fine-tune the hearing aids, show you daily care, and see you again for follow-ups as you settle in.
Cost
Widex hearing aid price, from receiver-in-canal to CIC micro
Two Widex hearing aids that look alike can be priced quite differently, because the technology level inside does most to set the Widex hearing aid price. Higher levels add more automatic adjustment and more help in noisy places. The style, rechargeable or battery power, streaming and the number of ears being fitted make up the rest. For all six brands side by side, see hearing aids in Pune.
If you have been searching for a Widex CIC micro price, you are probably looking at one of Widex’s smallest custom models, made to sit deep in the ear canal. These tiny hearing aids are meant for mild to moderate hearing loss, and they need an ear canal with room for them, which we check at your appointment. Our page on invisible in ear hearing aids explains more.
Once your hearing test is done, you get the cost of each suitable Widex option, so you can compare like with like.
Batteries
Widex hearing aid batteries in Pune
Widex hearing aids that aren’t rechargeable run on standard disposable zinc-air batteries. The size depends on the model, and each size has its own colour-coded tab, so buying the right one again is easy. Rechargeable Widex models have a built-in battery instead, charged overnight.
Looking for a Widex hearing aid battery near you? We sell genuine hearing aid batteries at our Viman Nagar clinic and can deliver them to your home anywhere in Pune. When you buy a Widex hearing aid from us, the first six months of batteries are free.
The Widex hearing aid battery price depends on the size and the pack. How long each battery lasts depends on your model, how many hours you wear it and how much you stream, so ask us for the current price of your size.
