Audio Service Hearing Aids in Pune
Prism Hearing, Speech and Balance is authorised for six hearing aid brands in Viman Nagar, and Audio Service is one of them. It is a German brand built around dependable, highly customisable hearing aids, a practical choice when you want solid performance and good value.
What makes Audio Service stand out
Audio Service is a German manufacturer with a long history of building reliable hearing aids. It belongs to WS Audiology, the same group as Signia and Widex, so it draws on serious engineering while keeping its own focus on practical value.
The brand is known for a broad, flexible line-up and plenty of fitting customisation. That makes it a useful option when you want capable, well-supported hearing aids with a careful eye on cost.

Cost
Audio Service hearing aid price: the factors that set it
Looking for an Audio Service hearing aid price list, or the price of an Audio Service ear machine? The figure depends on the model your hearing needs, and on the choices below.
| What you choose | How it affects the price |
|---|---|
| Technology level | Higher levels cope better with noisy places and adjust themselves more, and they cost more. |
| Style | Behind-the-ear, receiver-in-canal and custom in-ear models are each priced differently. |
| Power source | Rechargeable models come with a charger, while battery models run on standard disposable batteries. |
| One ear or two | Hearing loss in both ears usually means a pair, which audiologists typically recommend for balanced hearing. |
| What is included | Free with your hearing aid from us: the consultation, audiometry and video otoscopy, the fitting and fine-tuning, and your first six months of batteries. |
Your consultation gives you the price of every Audio Service model that fits your hearing test, explained upfront and with no pressure. To compare Audio Service with the other five brands we fit, see our guide to hearing aid prices and styles.
The range
Audio Service styles, and who they suit
Audio Service makes behind-the-ear and receiver-in-canal hearing aids, as well as custom models made for your ear. Features such as Bluetooth streaming and rechargeable power vary from model to model, so ask us which current models offer what you need. Whether you call it a hearing aid or an ear machine, the right style comes from your hearing test and the shape of your ears.
If you would prefer no batteries at all, our page on rechargeable ear aids explains how charging works. If you would rather nobody noticed, our invisible ear aid page covers the smallest styles and who they suit.
Audio Service suits first-time wearers who want a dependable start, people replacing an older hearing aid with an eye on cost, and families choosing a hearing aid for an older relative.
Your visit
What a visit to Prism looks like
It starts with a conversation about your hearing and your budget. Video otoscopy checks inside your ears, and an audiometry test measures your hearing, ear by ear. If you buy your hearing aid with us, none of this costs extra.
Next we match Audio Service models to your results and your budget, and we tell you if a different brand would serve you better. A free home trial comes before any decision. After that comes the fitting, then fine-tuning and follow-up visits over the following weeks. If getting to Viman Nagar is hard, a hearing aid home visit can cover testing, trials and fitting.
Later, warranty repairs are done with genuine parts, and our hearing aid repair service takes care of cleaning, re-tubing and fresh ear moulds.
Settling in
Your first weeks with a new hearing aid
New hearing aids take some getting used to, whichever brand you choose. Everyday sounds such as a ceiling fan, a pressure cooker’s whistle or traffic can seem loud at first, because your brain hasn’t heard them clearly for a while. Many people find it easier to start at home and wear the hearing aids a little longer each day.
Keep a note of anything that bothers you, from a voice that sounds sharp to a whistle when you hug someone. Follow-up visits are where we adjust the settings to what you tell us, so your notes become the fine-tuning. If the fit feels sore or something seems wrong, call us rather than waiting for your next appointment.
The clinic
More than a hearing aid shop
Audio Service hearing aids are one part of what we do. Prism is an ear and hearing clinic in Viman Nagar for every age, open every day from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm.
If ringing in the ears comes with your hearing loss, we look at hearing aids and tinnitus together. For babies, we offer the OAE test, a painless newborn hearing screen, at the clinic and for hospitals. And for vertigo or unsteadiness, the clinic runs an ear balance test.
